Public anger wells up over EC’s failures

The EC is nothing but an ass end of the serpent and cutting it won't really do anything. Hell, once the EC has served its only purpose (and absolutely nothing will happen to them before that) and the junta has announced itself as a legitimate government of Thailand with Prayut as the PM and destroying any nonconformist seeds along the way, I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Dad-of-All would step in and sacrifice the EC himself, just to prove he truly cares about the people.. Everything accompanied by a glorious media circus force-feeding his holiness to everyone for days to an end.

As the document has been written this may be the only outcome. Bangkok not satisfied they will stamp their feet up and down like a spoilt child. Then there is the water buffalo, move slowly but force to be reckoned with. Then the armed forces they have the bullets. Then the aristocratic type or the well off's who have the money.

The bottom line is the army is still and will remain in control maybe for a very long time. Their argument will be they have been doing a good job up until now, as they see the landscape.

Be Smart and yes show up at a Protest but just turn your Back on who ever your protesting Too or for.

They will get the message,By turning your Back to them they Loose Face and it is a Peaceful no need for Military Intervention.

It will not be Long until the rest of the World start too see what is really going on ,you only have to read the World Bank Report that was submitted to the Bank stating how financial Thailand was, only 5% of the Population was in Poverty and it keeps going on, More Creative Writing.

... with power come great responsibility.

Anyone else have any views of people being responsible in this land mass.

’the irresponsible leading the irresponsible’. (in general terms that is, I have met and become aquatinted with a very small number of self responsible people of this land mass.

Well, Reuters reported that there were about 100 people at the protest. That is still tiny. If it grows into the thousands then maybe it may signal the start of something. As of now, this is basically a nothing burger, as they say.

Put coup Generals in orange jumpsuits, and trim the military to what is appropriate for a country the size of Thailand, and put it under direct civilian rule, like in most countries.

Create a true independent judiciary.

Pay police a decent wage that discourages corruption and actually enforces laws

Purge the 'independent' commissions of military and political stooges

Then you just might get somewhere.

......alright I'm waking up from my fantasy dream.

Game on to the next riot, coup, who knows

when was the last time Thailand was at war?  does it really need a military?

That nothing burger of about 100 protestors were match by about 100 security personnel deployed. A rather heavy does of intimidation has worked last 5 years and still used.

The photos I saw yesterday when this was happening looked more like in the thousands, not hundreds.

Hotting up, massacre perpetrated by the military in Bangkok due later this year if the "rinse and repeat" history theory is anything to go by.

Mother-in-law remembers the days of the Thammasat massacre and when she heard about students gathering in Bangkok, her only voiced concern was how the Thai MSM is not mentioning much of anything about it.
