Almost 50 years later, mullets and tatts have made a resolute comeback, .but. the lace-up jumper and lung dart hanging from his lips will probably never be seen on an AFL ground again.

 

For the record, Tiger Balme king hit Geoff Southby and broke his jaw during the game and wan't even reported.   Who do I complain to?

Sending the fine to where it went only fuels the fire imo.

Tex i think has/is doing the right thing but will be another player remembered for the wrong reasons.

Would one of the learned here help me out with a question....ive looked over the visa section and its kinda mumbled stumbled stuff, depending on what you read, i have no issues with insurance etc and money in the bank but...is it a requirement now to have medical insurance to apply for a long stay visa as in retirement and im not talking about the corvid insurance.....

 

I spoke in line with an agent there and again they limit info untill your in the door..... i thought by going the agent route it would be easier to get a bank account....silly me had one back in 2012 i should have kept topping it up, unlike here if dormant for a year or soo they shut it closed......

Alex,an email to the big banks on requirements to open an account may help.

When my father came(pre covid) after completing all the O-A in Aus.

He was told by immigration after he arrived that he could not get a certificate of residence for a minimum of 6 months and most banks require that.He gave up and went home.

Knowing someone in the banking industry here is your best bet.

You do need nsurance if applying outside thailand.

Most now would enter through sandbox visa exempt then change visa here not requiring the insurance but you need that bank account.

Maybe a 2nd hand elite visa might be a better option.

Fj, thanks for your input...using an agent will open all doors, look after living in Thai for a year i went home with a banged up head....Thais follow whats written in a  book and cant deviate, plenty of my documented adventures in TV somewhere, i managed to get shoes replaced and a bank account before and it taught me a lot....now im 10 ys older and more mellow i can put up with them...of course when i contacted an agent......nothing....i will message the visa experts in here when im ready to make a move.....

We have a debutant in Charlie Comben,a big fella who they say can pluck a mark and kick a goal but not really sure as has been injured from day dot.

It will give us a look at the future of the forward line,Comben,Larkey,Zurhaar and Ford as the key targets.

I noticed a one Aaron VendenBerg is up for his 50th game this week for us....after 10 years......and mind you it was just one or two seasons ago the Swans were moving the Blue Mountains to get him to sign when he came out of contract....

 

Normally slots right in with instant impact....not this year.....actually got dropped early in the year....wonder if the Swans would like to trade for him end of the year.....

Well Melbourne lockdown extend for 2 more weeks with a curfew there is slim chance of a GF with a crowed this year in the garden gnome state....heading west for sure...if the West Aussies put up there hand im sure they will get it....
