Went off @ 2130hrs last night after a distant storm

Their call centre haven't a clue when it will be back online

3BB still up an running here in my area of Maenam. Very windy last night, so likely your fiber was broke by a falling palm frond or tree branch. Need to get a 3BB tech out to  your area to chase down the break.

Up here at the pointy end of Samui, 3BB are struggling to provide continuous service. We have had 3BB engineers working up here multiple times per week for almost a month

They've had two calls as explained but I might as well bang on their desk in Tesco if it isn't back by 10am.

Update: They say Soi 3 & surrounding areas are effected and that they're working on it.

Reminds of a friend that lost his Internet connection – it was back in the earlier days – and called the service provider's help desk. The lady there said that he should go to the Internet service provider's home page, where he would find the answer in the FAQ-section.

Yes, but his Internet connection was down, so how could he get to the ISP's home page?

The lady repeated that then he should go to the ISP's home page and find the answer in the FAQ-section.

After a couple of more similar answers he gave up...????

Service finally resumed 16hrs after it went off! ????

3BB engineers were still up a bamboo ladder opposite the PTT stn near soi 3 jct when I drove past just after it had come back on this afternoon.

I often have a pigeon sitting on the wires outside my house, I sometimes consider to train it for bringing wireless messages to the ISP in case of lost connection...????
