Its been a few years since I 'partook' in the 'entertainment' that Pattaya has to offer but following a divorce, I thought I'd check out what's going on down there.  I paid a visit to Soi Cowboy recently and almost swallowed my glass when a young Isaan Princess in a Coyote bar told me she didn't go out with customers but had just agreed to go out with a Japanese guy the following night for 10,000!!! I had a wander around and went back to my hotel - when I was a customer the price was 1000 + around 250 for the bar.

 

I thought I'd better check out the current situation in Pattaya before I go down and was amazed to see that the barfine alone in some of the go go's in Pattaya is now 1500!!! Jeez, what happened?  Girls working in Factories or 7/11 still get 8,000 to 12,000 per month!!!

 

Back in the UK I was discussing this with a mate who used to be a Pattaya regular but stopped going because of the rising price of 'entertainment'. He suggested I should take a trip to Kiev, Ukraine.  Although a regular jaunt there would be out of the question - I have a home in Thailand, motorbike, friends....etc. etc. - it might make a pleasant change as a one off.  So I did a little internet research and found the prices out there are actually much cheaper than Pattaya or Bangkok and if the photos are to be believed - the girls are world class. Whether or not they are 'mechanical' clock watchers as are found in Amsterdam I know not but they certainly look stunning.

 

Anyway, my interest aroused, having just received an offer of a month of Tinder Gold at half price, I decided to do a little fishing on Tinder. Tinder Gold, amongst other things, allows you to change your location so I set mine to Kiev.  Amongst the cards of supposedly ordinary girls, I came across this belter of a bio:

 

'Strong and independent is not about me, I love life, travel. In future I want family, children, a big house and Porsche 718 Cayman GTS for my pleasure. Looking for a husband. Only serious relationship.'

 

Its a deal, the Porsche is on order and I'll be there with your ring next week darling! Bloody hell, is she serious? Probably, yes!!! I am absolutely sure that she's looking for a serious relationship............with her future husband's bank account! Me thinks these girls can probably make Pattaya's finest look like amateurs.

 

When you look at the photos of these 'ordinary' girls its not difficult to see what kind of lifestyle they are living and what they expect from their 'boyfriends/husbands'. Granted they are stunning but they are also dripping with gold, sporting Gucci handbags and Prada shoes - no cheap Thai copies you'll note. There's photos of them in exclusive stores and on yachts. I think I know exactly what would happen to me if I visited Kiev, I think I'll give it a miss! See you soon Pattaya ????.

Ahh a trip down memory lane of Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza and Therme.. 

those were the days my friend We thought they'd never end... But they did, and now it's all about the money and sex selling as a commodity, a commercial enterprise like any others, and as for asking for a house and a Porche, sure, asking is not a crime, most of those girls end up in suburban house washing dishes and driving a Hyundai anyway...

Income in Thailand is now 3x that of Cambodia, Philippines, Vietnam ........ try some other countries.

I've never found that to be the case, in Thailand, many of the girls live ten to a room, and the more solitary ones live in a concrete box out of a stripey zip bag with a dirty mattress on the floor and a squat toilet in the corner.

The money usually all goes on drugs/booze/boyfriend/family they very rarely spend it on an 'opulent lifestyle'.

 

I've lived with several really beautiful hookers, when they moved in I usually upped their lifestyle by x10, but they never seemed bothered by the living conditions, mud hut or mansion was all the same to them.

And what about the Thai folks up-country who remark that the girl who went to work in Bangkok now has a house that is bigger and nicer than the local doctor's. I am sure that most if not all of the girls who work the red-light district in Bangkok where the foreigners don't go are all either supporting a habit or two or boyfriends who have a habit, but that does not have to apply to all the girls working in bars where foreigners hang out.

Had you taken a stroll on down to Pattaya beach you could have found what you were looking for from 500 Bt. up. The average being 700 Bt....?

So, I guess you are indeed right..."She doesn't want much".

An old Soi dog with a good nose and personality can still sniff out a 1000 to 1 runner in Pattaya be she a newbie or oldie. That said what irks me is the pressure put on reluctant up country girls by their mothers or fathers to take one for the family.

the internet has changed everything. make sure you check out the Instagram accounts sometimes linked to Tinder and Badoo.

Grab a granny at Bamboo.

Kiev has definitely stunning girls.

Read the OP again. He makes it rather clear that he first went to cowboy, gagged on the prices and then went to Pattaya.
