He was there to answer questions about his party in the forthcoming elections. When Marr tried to drag him elsewhere Farage quite rightly directed the interview back in the direction in which it was supposed to travel.

Marr/The BBC looked decidedly amature. To me it was Marr's "Micheal Fish" moment.

He's there to answer questions asked of him, when you volunteer for a TV interview you can't dictate what questions you will answer. He purposively avoided the questions because he knows that many of the "useful idiots" that follow his every word won't like the fact that he thinks privatisation of the NHS is a good idea ... that would not be a vote winner. He's got to keep the "con" going to get those votes.

Lets face it the EU and the BBC eat babies. What better way to create a federal state than to get onside with the nations main source of information. We need Nigel to save us from this...…...

Exactly, here is a man who has been 33 times on Question Time, and his supporters, immune to irony, and awash with self righteous indignation, are claiming he was badly treated by the Beeb because he couldn't set his own agenda. It beggars belief. Many ordinary UK voters actually DO want to know why his party has NO policies on ANYTHING (Apart from Brexit).

Do you work for the BBC? The only election on the horizon right now is the EU, a manifesto won't be required until Brexit signs up to a GE.  Many ordinary voters would also like to know the new manifestos of the Labour and Conservative parties going into this election...at the last election they told us we would be out by now. Any idea where we can find them?

What I do know is where Brexit stands on next Thursday's vote.

It's just been reported in the Guardian that Arron Banks gave him £450,000 of funding after the Brexit vote ... "providing him with a furnished Chelsea home, a car and a driver, and money to promote him in America".

 

And we all know how dodgy Arron Banks is ... Russian wife and suspected "donations" from Russia to fund the Brexit campaign? 

 

I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised to learn that these muppets are the modern day equivalents to the Cambridge spys of the 1950's. 

 

 

 

I see the BBC are running true to form today. Seven days out from the European Parliament elections and Brexit the party leading in all the polls has no representative on the Newsnight panel. They continue to practice the form of democracy favoured by the EU.

Under EC rules all donations over a certain size have to be disclosed.

Farage has generally done well on QT but before the referendum he didn't get much of a look in, did he?

 

With shows like Andrew Marr, the BBC gives the interviewee at least the themes of the main questions to be asked, so yes, in a way, Farage and anyone else going on the show are allowed to set their agendas to some extent. However, the BBC regularly divert from these agreed questions; Marr was concentrating on history, which from Farage's reaction, was not the line of questioning that had been agreed. The BBC pulled a similar stunt with Batten, when they kept on bringing up Tommy Robinson. 

 

It's not about Farage's agenda. It's about the BBC's left-wing agenda.

With all this turmoil I notice that the pound has responded negatively to these events. Transferwise barely gave me 40 baht to the pound yesterday. Surely many of you posters writing on this forum are expats. Don't you worry about where this man would lead us?

Pound down v USD 1.6% this week. Dollar is stronger against EUR too but the THB has stayed mostly with the dollar. Yes, the possibility of a "disorderly" Brexit and Theresa May's weak and wobbly position has hurt the pound. Do I worry? Yes. But not necessarily about the same people you do.
