So my 2 year bike and car license is expiring next week and I need to go to renew to 5 year.

The links in Thai license checklist sticky post no longer works, so quick question,  in addition to passport copies, photos and certificate of residence (I'm on retirement extension),  do I also need medical certificate  ? (like when I went for 2 year one)

Do I need anything else ? Do they do any tests or video watching etc...?

Thanks for all the (no) replies...lol, but for info for others.

Today I renewed both of my 2 year car + bike licences today at Phuket DLT for 5 years,  they need certificate of residence 300b, and health certificate 200b and a copy of each if have two licenses...plus two sets of passport copy , no photos needed as they take one there and then.

305b for bike and 555b for car, also that traffic light and pedal test, takes about 45 seconds that test...!!! Nothing else...

It takes a bit of time, I think better go in the early afternoon or early morning , otherwise hit the lunch hour and have to come back, they said come at 1pm for the rest of process even I did the test at 11:15am... !!!

Also new start date was today 21 May, not the expiry on the licenses which was 23 May, so go on last day...

Just to add the medicals are required when you change from a 2 year to a 5 year but not for a 5 to a 5 !! Odd. I just did mine as well. The strange test was that depth perception thingy.  Trying to line up 2 little poles in a box 12 feet away?

This depth perception test is not done or available in Phuket DLT ,  I haven't even seen it for my first 2 year, and 2 to 5 year renewal, fyi....
