I have a stack of old Mac laptops , 15-20 years old and probably older,

I would like to view what's on the internal SCSI drives , and save whatever photos might be on them

I have a Thinkpad T440p laptop with Windows 7

Is there a way to do this ?

  Thanks for your ideas

That'll teach me to not read the whole thing...

You'd normally need a SCSI PCI/PCMCIA/Express Card, but your laptop doesn't have that kind of input. I have some old laptops in Thailand that do, but I'm not there at the moment.

You should be able to buy a SCSI USB adapter.

SCSI was also common for PCs but more likely for servers and workstations.

There are lots of different versions of SCSI so make sure you get the correct connector.

If you know someone in an IT department from a company which is at least 10 years old then likely they will have computers with SCSI connectors.

Pricey. Perhaps 5000 baht or more.

Thanks guys,

Maybe I am over thinking this and could look for a charger for the laptops.

They all have floppy drives !

But I think I have a USB floppy drive reader around here somewhere ????

We had Macs back in the 90s as the magazine world was using them and some of the publishing programs were MAC only.
