IPTV Questions

Featured Replies

I'm not every tech savvy so would welcome some advice.

I want to be able to watch BBC iPlayer,  and the premier League football. Some other British TV would be a bonus.

What are my options?  I know you can watch the premier League on true TV and whilst we have true in Chiang Mai we don't have it in our place outside the city, so then it becomes watching it over the internet.

BBC iPlayer I just can't get to work even with my VPN. Not sure what I'm doing wrong as others say they can watch it abroad.

For the BBC you need a VPN provider who have a "BBC solution", the BBC are getting very good at detecting VPN users these days ????

I use Ivacy which seems to work well and has good support.

For the Premier League I'm afraid I can't help as I'm not a fan of the game. For the cricket I use AirTV extra, it's definitely not free but works extremely well . Android only. Their website is extremely variable which is annoying as I need a new sub for The Ashes.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Do you want to do this with an Android box or your Pc,if the later,

you can download Bluestacks to your PC, it's an Android emulator,

like having two systems in one, then you can install apps like Mobdro,

Live lounge,

and plenty of others which you can watch all BBC,ITV,

US content live.it works very well and is easy to install, download

APK to Windows desktop, scan them then open Bluestack and

drag them over to Bluestacks, they install themselves. Google everything.

so you can see.

Smart TVs, Android boxes, smart phones, tablets, they are all 'puters are they not? My IPTV works fine on all.

Get yourself a decent android box and sign up to an IPTV.

Around 400 baht a month for IPTV.

surely, we're past the days of having to spend money for extra hardware just to watch live TV?
I'm thinking of going back to HD Prime, though God knows their customer service has disappeared - but at least they have all channels covered and you can use it on your Android phone too for no extra - around 400 baht a month. Oh, and it has catch-up also
Right now I do what worgeordie says - I stream all channel with Mobdro and LivenetTV - they're both free, both can use on your Android phone too. Downside is there's no catch-up if you miss something
