Running events inThailand

Featured Replies

Hi.

Has anyone found a site listing running events in Thailand?

I have found a few, either incomplete, not updated, or forcing you to sift through worldwide events, and these last don't include the smaller events in Thailand. That is to say, these are likely to have an entry fee of ฿1000.- and up. I won't go into the difficulties presented by websites that are only in Thai, Google translate is of no use at all.

By the way, my next 10K is the Huairat (Buriram) 10 K end of September, try Googling THAT and see if you can make head or tail of it!

I doubt you will find much in English as most are small Thai events run by local businesses or government organizations trying to cash in on this trend.  Many are poorly organized and would not have much online presence, even in Thai.  There are a couple of bigger players who do a good job of organizing a variety of events around the country.  My wife tells me I am signed up for a 20K trail run at Singha Park in Chiangrai next month.  I hope I survive.????‍♂️

Not, apparently, that anyone cares (thanks Mr. Villagefarang), but by chance I came upon https://www.runlah.com/

and www.facebook.com/Running-thailand-events-

runlah is just what I was looking for, without much hope.
