Weather Now (20-23 Sept) / Car / Driving

Hi All,

 

Arriving on Friday night. Planning ahead, trying to decide whether to hire a car etc.

 

Been to Samui many times. Enough times to know that when the weather forecast says rian all day, that it's probably just an hour in the afternoon, and an hour about midnight. Is that the case at the moment?

Just do what the woman says. If she says hire a car then hire a car. If she says turn in the windscreen wipers then turn on the windscreen wipers. It's not hard, believe me!

24-7 rain. Glad of the car to get around, even if it is to the cinema.

 

Moderate rain. Don't want a car coz she will expect me to stay sober and drive, rather sipping beers on the beach.

–and for actual update of eventually rainy clouds you can use the Surat Thani weather radar (time shown is GMT, so image is today 20:45, i.e. 13 minutes ago).
