Baby found dead at home days after going missing while mum in toilet

A baby boy was found in the back of its home on Monday morning, four days after it disappeared while his mother visited the toilet.

 

The Sukhothai mother returned from a visit to the toilet on September 26 to find her 18-day-old baby named “IL” gone, along with her wallet.

 

The mum said she was in the toilet for about 10 minutes around 6 pm before emerging to find her baby gone. 

 

She phoned her sister to ask for assistance, but they could find no trace of the boy and wallet or any sign of a suspect.

 

The sister posted a message to her Facebook account begging whoever that did it to return the baby and noting she had not yet seen the face of her nephew.

 

After IL’s father was told, he reportedly couldn’t eat or sleep due to a broken heart.

 

At 6 am on September 30, the baby boy was found dead by his father in the back of the house. Officers are further investigating the case.

So many questions, I hope they follow this up with some clarity. 18 days old is not old enough to move around, maybe able to roll over, that's it. Obviously there is way more to the story.

It seems rather strange that the article doesn't mention that the couple reported to disappearance of the baby to the police.

 

I suspect that something untoward has happened.

 

No doubt the truth will out.

They must have searched the whole house and adjoining areas after the baby disappeared .

   Odd that the baby would appear in the house a few days later

How, In Gods name can you not find an 18 Day old Infant if you are looking.

And then for the Child to be found just a few meters away.

Crazy story, Baby would cry and where is the wallet? Sounds all not complete.

It is possible that something terrible happened and the mom has made up a story to protect herself. That is speculation of course but plausible.
