Do Scots have veto rights inside the UK, as they would have inside the EU?

The Uk Parliament doesnt operate in that way .

All UK MP's vote individually and they arent  divided by country  .

Scots cannot veto anything in the Uk Parliament, neither can English, Welsh or Irish , it doesnt work like that

Can Scots choose to not use the British pound? In the EU they could choose not to use the euro.

The Scots have their own currency , the Scottish Pound .

Yes, Scots can choose not to use the British Pound , they can use the Scottish Pound

Scotland would need to use the Euro, if they joined the E.U independently

What's the REAL difference between Scottish and English pound?

How is the Scottish pound doing versus the Baht, as compared to the English pound?

Brexiteers are sooooooooo entertaining!

I sincerely hope one of the member states feels the same as you and vetoes any request for an extension.

We want out, it's time to accept it and let us leave.

They don,t want us,they just want out money to prop up their failed experiment.watch the rush to leave after we,be gone and all the others are asked to contribute to make up for the loss of our extortionate "contribution"

From all accounts, dealing on WTO terms is the fast route to economic disaster for companies, as their imposed tariffs are way above the EU. Be careful what you wish for, as you probably won't like the consequences.

Funny that,I know of three companies who import from the usa and after paying carriage, duty, and vat are still getting products cheaper and better quality than the eu can offer.

What currency could they use instead?

They could create their own, they could call it "The Brigadoon"

Seen once in a generation, and disappears into the mists of the glenns, leaving behind only footprints in the dew. A whisky fueled ephemera...

I may be wrong, but I suspect that he is not British, rather from another European country, one which rather has a tradition of expecting everyone else to fall in line and do what their told - hence why the idea of the UK leaving is such a sore point. There are several here...
