It's difficult to take seriously a suggestion about regulating coyotes from a man called Hae-haw.

First step: Make prostitution legal in Thailand. Then the working contracts with the pretties can contain exactly what they are supposed to do. And that is obviously not only about the prett

will be just as effective as the rules and enforcement that govern motor vehicles on roads and highways

Control control control, dont worry about regulation just bring to justice those willing to break the law and punish, not with 5000 baht in the back pocket but 20 years or so if the crime fits it, that is what all other civilised countries do.

But this is not a civilized country.

Upset this apple cart and you will see the farang depart like no visa restriction could ever do. It will show the real reason why expats retire here.

Your claim to know the "real reason why expats retire here" is invalid. You have no clue why I retired here and it certainly wasn't for horizontal entertainment. Try again.

Hunting protected and endangered animals in a National park where hunting is illegal is called Poaching !!!

"These service workers may be required to register with officials"

No comment necessary! :cheesy::clap2:

The upside is less information to obtain like other countries...

Thailand doesn’t have ladies of night.....right?

Coyotes in Thailand? That's new.

All you will hear is a whole bunch of coyotes all howling in unison when it's a full moon.

Unfortunately, there is a key element in brainstorming that they don’t possess.

Unless they let the state run the brothels (excellent idea), good luck regulating anything.

During the late Vietnam War (1972-73) all prostitutes were registered and regulated since gonorrhea and syphilis was rampant here back then.  Pleasure girls carried a 'VD book' with their photo, registration number, and, stamped pages revealing a history of required periodic medical exams (every 2 weeks IIRC).  A prospective customer could ask to see the book and verify the date of her last 'VD check'.  He could also report her registration number to police if she gave him more than he bargained for. ????????

Back to the future, I was actually shocked when I returned to LOS in 2004 to find the government had abandoned this not perfect, but better than nothing, 'VD' regulation and monitoring system.  Go figure.

Now only ALIENS get checked for syphilis every year to extend their work permits. ????

When I read the head line, I hoped they would start regulating and make security checks at zip-lines ... ????

Seem to remember reading a story a few years ago about a farang who wanted to "unionize" the bar girls in Pattaya. Only read the story one time, never heard of the idea or the farang again.

Since the "pretties" are widely assumed to be call girls, they deserve the same benefits as the prostitute in the rest of the country.

Oh, wait!  There are no prostitutes in Thailand. 55555

I would like to know that all these girls  have clean blood

I’ve heard they have cancelled the submarine order and ordered a replica Titanic instead. This is so they can better practice rearranging the deckchairs.

you are a sad little man

I was trying to make a joke ???? now I'm sad that you didn't get it.

Anyway, the point is that registering pretties Will not help them against rapists.

This should also include all sex workers in Thailand. They should also be protected. Take sex workers out of the dark ages. Pretties, sex workers all the same

Contact former Australian politician and current conman Clive Palmer, he allegedly was going to build a replica. He also has a bridge for sale

The term “pretties” is possibly one of the creepiest term I have heard in ages.

the Thai parliament has organised a brainstorming session to find a way to regulate the “pretty entertainment business”

One wonders if this brainstorming session took place at an appropriate venue, such as a soapy or a go go bar?...... And where did they find someone with a brain?

Ah, a committee, that will solve the issue in no time at all!

A Thai once told me that they have committees so that if they get it wrong no individual person can be blamed!

It's OK if you have first or second degree syphyllis, the medical form for a non-imm visa only demands a declaration if you have tertiary syph !!
