In a thread recently someone posted a picture of a sign for 50 baht beer and from memory I think it was a bar in Soi New Plaza.

 

Depending on the beer 2 for 1 prices at Billabong, Climax and Triangle bars work out at 60 or 65 baht each.

Between Diana Estate and Chunky Monkey around a month to six weeks ago.  45 baht San Mig or Heineken.

 

Bottles of Leo or Chang can be had for 50 or even 45 baht at a few spots around Buakhao. I drink the 55 baht SML and put on airs and graces. 

Sonja Bar on Soi 4 does big bottles of Chang and Leo for 110 Baht; that equates to 55 Baht for a small one. Girls behind the bar will accompany you home when you have your beer goggles on.

This is the Promenade guest house...Large Acha 55 baht Large Chang and Leo 60 baht....not a girlie bar

be sure to get your 1 baht change, you can by a free beer at 7-11 on the way home, or a left handed curry.

You are referring to the I Bar under Insomnia.  8pm to 10pm bottled beers 39 baht. Good views of the sea,  plenty of free lancers but awful PYFHU music.

Arrhh, they scrapped the happy hour times to all day AND night, that's why there's no times on it. And to verify  I paid 50 baht a drink at 11 pm not long ago.

 

Here's another one mentioned before.  Large Leo's 60 baht, all day and night right on soi buakhow, near Chunky Monkey. 

 

 

watch out for places that serve bottles with the cap aleady off.

 

got a weird tasting leo at escobar in jomtein. strange aftertaste i have not tasted before.

Most places serve with the cap off, long time since I got otherwise. Yes many years ago we got them with the cap on and tin-foil around it, not no more. Every now and again you get a funny tasting one in a bar or Go-Go, slops have been put in there and a cap banged back on. At 160-180 baht a bottle there is some incentive, I doubt draft fares much better when it is pulled out of sight.

yeah, tasted like the bottle was filled from a old keg sitting around from last night. had a strange sour or tart aftertaste that leos just dont have normally. did not smell like pisss.

 

that can be my new pet peeve. "ill have a leo, cap on". what? "cap on, you moron!". that and chucking the extra plastic bag back at people.

That photo was taken at 8 am. How about you go have a look at 8 pm, it is crowded at that time.????

The thing is, places like this, and even the 2 for 1 places. particularly the ones offering entertainment, still don't seem to pull in the Chinese and Indians.

You,'ve got to watch some bars girls pour the dregs into a bottle and recap it,you,'ll soon know if you,'ve had one of these,you,'ll spew your ring up.
