Pareena Kraikup

MP Pareena Kraikup of the Phalang Pracharath Party owns property in her home province of Ratchaburi that partially encroaches on protected national woodland, the Forest Management Bureau announced on Sunday (November 24) following an inspection.

Bureau No 10 based in Ratchaburi said 600 of the 1,700 rai of her property, mainly dedicated to chicken farming, occupies protected land.

Royal Forest Department officials will examine the evidence and if any law is alleged to have been broken, it will promptly file suit against Pareena under the Forest Act of 1941 and the National Reserved Forest Act of 1964.

Officials had requested a subpoena to conduct a further survey of the MP’s property to gather more accurate information and determine whether the chicken ranch trespasses on state land or is illegally owned.

Well if you would stop making your contributions to the filthy air you might not sound like such a hypocrite.

Most of the world chickens and swine never see the daylight.

There is free range chickens in every village and Paleorobbie.com.

There is free range chicken eggs at BigC but "Free range" doesn't mean much by itself. They could go outside for 15min and probably be called free range.

For years this unit of production has been able to function without any irregularities being noticed and curiously since its owner finds himself at the head of an opposition party, the office of the sleeping officials wakes up and finds that the land on which is building this business ....

:crying:

For me its not even the fact that she is on State land, encroaching on this and that. Its the fact that she has seemingly been able to get her hands on 1,700 rai of the stuff... Would be interesting to see the books open and how much rent she pays and to whom? Also how a rich family seemed to get the use of it, when there is a limit of 50 rai for poor people.... Obviously because the answers are obvious and it would implicate many of wrong doing, there will be plenty of obfuscation, preening which will all amount to nothing...

Doesn't free 'range' mean here you have a 'range' of 3 sizes?

JOKE.

In case some don't get it.

That was interesting. Probably something they must look closer into then.

Ooh, they already know it is encroaching. Ok, maybe they have to find how much of the land that concerns.

Maybe next time they can have a better headline.

Forests are the reserve of fat hunters and their BBQ ????

I hope TEAM THANATHORN, charged with a much lesser, nebulous offence, will make hay with this.

This is not a "chicken s**t" offence.
