Eagle eyed viewer sees potential lottery winner after snake capture

Thai caption: The snake played up through the open door.

Sanook reported on a relatively standard capture of a snake in Kalasin in Thailand's north east.

But the event could lead to riches.

The 2 meter long rat snake (Ngoo Singh in Thai) was soon in custody after it was found behind a cabinet in a woman's house.

She admitted she had left her front door open affording the serpent easy access.

But an eagle eyed viewer of a video posted by the snake catchers saw the number plate of a car next to where the snake was being loaded into a sack.

Sanook suggested that 3642 could be the winner in the next draw in the national lottery on Sunday.

Stop laughing at my family, and friends, when I think about it.

I wouldn't call them idiots as such, but I'm constantly entertained by each new superstition that I come across and what we would call barking.

I recall a line in a movie

“they will be barking at the moon and talking to their dead relatives “

Can’t remember which film , but almost seems comparable  with the superstitious here.

A bit harsh to call them idiots, superstitious they maybe... but then maybe that's all they have in life.

You could be a little more charitable to those who believe differently to you.

I have had a perfectly good red shirt hanging on my power pole for the last 12 days to ward of some Pee that is around the area. Superstitious or not, that shirt has been out there too long and needs a wash.
