Agent who can sort green book name change for me

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm looking for an agent who can help me change my bike's green book to my name. The previous owner has now left the island but I have copies of his paperwork.

I have heard that Dan Autos does a service like this - though everytime I have been there has not been English speaking staff there. As I work every day on the other side of the island, it is a bit of a pain to keep trying there.

How would I find another 'agent'? Or.. any recommendations?  I live in Lamai, so the closer to there the better.

Thanks!

Never had a problem with Dan's Auto for this kind of work. Ask for the owner Pete, he is usually there he speaks good English.

Why not run it past Liz Luxen?

Just take it to The Dapartment of Land Transport in Lipa Noi, and do it yourself, and save 2000 baht. Its a very simple process.

Dan Auto also has a workshop in Chaweng, next to the Caltex gasoline station opposite the amphor office; they have done it for me when I sold my old car.

Otherwise your insurance agent might be able to do it, if you have – or rather buy in your name – a 1st class insurance on the car. My insurance agent do all stuff the at Land Transport Office for me.
