Reading her previous posts when she / he was racing for the title of POTY, I think he / she does not have many Farang friends.

This is getting serious some of us old codgers had a crush and now we are spurned. A statement at least would clear the air (though here in Patts it is pretty dirty) and help many of us to move on. There wont be another Thai or at least not a man. A male would have been destroyed. Btw I believe the profile pic to be a true likeness.

If this is the highlight of someone's year good luck to them. Personally I think it achieves nothing other than inflating some people's egos. If being POTY on an internet forum is that important to someone they REALLY need to step away from the keyboard more often.

 

Never criticize their appointment though- they run off crying and their sycophants surround them with accolades. Once the year has passed it would be sensible to take it off one's profile as it smacks of 'look at me'. 

Hey Assuranceyourix, I lived in Sakon Nakhon for almost a year in 1993. Re your HGV licence - I found that they had very little interface with farang in S Nakhon back then, so I had to increase the padding in the brown envelope substantially, to oil the process. Did not want a HGV licence though. I also met a chap back then who was a HGV driver in Europe. He had built himself a lovely bungalow on his wife's land, near that lake there - wondering if that was you ?

I know a french man who is living in Na Khe, but it's in Nakon Phanom province .

I said after I won new year will not post for one week, I want to be with my friends/family this time (new year holiday).

And for meditate.

December waste lot of time, about 1,000 post! To much. I like have balance in my life.
