Here is the crazy thing, Laso is literally on the border to China, and yet they have had no infected persons as of now. They also have closed many schools and have stopped Chinese flights. Yet Thailand to the South has done things very differently to the Northern cousins, and look how things are working out here 

Yes this is of concern but the big picture has to be taken in account.  The regular influenza killed over 7,200 in the United States in just the last 3 months of 2019.

And buffalo Prayut demonstrated how safe the airport is but had around his useless head a face mask despite closed down airport by his guards.

Off topic posts and replies about road accident statistics have been removed. 

Pretty amazing how Thailand, with so many Chinese tourists, can maintain a number of only 14 infected. Other countries are starting to catch up.

 

Seems Thais are immune to this virus.

My friend in Singapore told me that every household is being issued 4 masks, and each household is under quarantine. If somebody breeches it they will be fined $100. They are doing things right 

Everyone knows Thailand cant monitor all the tour guides.  Bunch of BS.  Halting case numbers until the holiday money is in the bag will be the downfall of these government officials imho.

I think they came up with a traditional Thai solution: stop testing and you'll get no more confirmed cases.

When the government says everything is 100% under control... it's then time to run.

That will have minimal effect on stopping the spread of this virus, because people will just book their flights to an airport in a pro China country (like Duterteland) and then book an ongoing flight to the country of their choice.

 

The only ban that will be effective is to ban anyone with a Chinese passport.
