February 18, 20206 yr Used an IP Unblocker service for a few years. Worked well for typical US Streaming TV services. Did not use for a few months. Now having major problems. Worked well in Pattaya on TOT ADSL. Now on 3bb Fiber up north. The IP switcher is simply not working. I originally thought that 3bb fiber might have some sort of over ride. However, now I suspect the Unblocker Service may be getting in over their heads, and are having problems in Thailand. I spent a night at a hotel in Bangkok, and had similar issues there. 1) Anyone else having similar -- sudden breakdowns with their IP Unblockers? 2) Any recommendations for what services work here in Thailand? I use mostly Apple TV and iPads.
February 18, 20206 yr It usually wouldnt have anything to do with this end, the IP unblocker (proxy) just hides your Thai IP address and replaces it with a local US address. Often the streaming companies eventually catch up with and identify the range of IP addresses coming from a Proxy and block them. Google to find another proxy server, or start using a VPN.
