Video: 'Jazz woman' says she was in the right, blames truck driver and intends to fight case

All 3 lanes are same direction traffic, right?

The left lane is therefor the slow lane and the truck is trying to overtake the Jazz on the left (wrong) side.

She might have a chance to win this case.

She shouldn't have been in the right lane at that speed or setting up for the turn. The truck driver in their lane was just going straight on and without knowing the speed limit or the FPS of the video we can only assume at this stage they were traveling at the correct speed.

One trusts she no longer holds a licence to drive, hope it was suspended pending outcome of case.

Deluded if she thinks this is safe, correct driving.

Perhaps incarcerated for attitude readjustment will assist her skills

Daily News reported that she claims to be totally in the right and did not see the truck driver who she blames for the accident that occurred on a slippery road.

She basically admitted her guilt as she was required to see traffic all around her.  What a insanely stupid woman.

The car and truck are in what is a two lane carriageway heading in the same direction, and there is a one lane carriageway heading in the opposite direction.

she was in the right lane (slow lane) then cut in front of the truck driver (right fast lane).

Clearly in the wrong is she, that said, if the truck driver wasn't speeding, he would have been able to avoid the accident, that said, he deserves a speeding ticket at worst. She on the other hand deserves the book thrown at her, spoilt brat.

How do you know one lane is for opposite direction traffic?

If that is the case, the road markings are very odd.

Ohh, boy. The correct speed is NOT the speed limit, but a speed where you can safely navigate traffic and avoid an accident.

I think your correct.....its a 3 lane , other wise why would they report that the truck ended up turned over on the Central Reservation

Thanks. On top of that a pickup truck stops at 1:25 in the video on what appears to be the road way for opposite traffic on the other side of the median.

How on earth did you come to this conclusion? It's a dual carriage and she is driving in right hand overtaking lane! Your scenario only applies if Thailand was a country that drove on the right.

I didn't play the full video previously, only went as far as the accident, and prior to that saw a motorbike to the left of the screen turn onto the servo which I assumed came off of that lane, (forgot where I was for a moment). Later on in the video I saw cars going in the opposite direction on the furthest side, separated by the grassed strip.

The above said, after looking at the video entirely I also see a vehicle broken down on the closest lane to the servo, so she was in the right lane, came into the middle lane after the broken down vehicle, in the path of the truck, who was speeding, still she pulled into that middle lane before crossing over into the 3rd lane to enter the servo without giving it a 2nd thought, still the guilty one IMO.

Truck driver was speeding. The broken down vehicle and the Jazz lady were just catalyst to an otherwise avoidable accident.

By the way, if all occupants in the truck had been wearing seat-belts, all would have survived. It was a soft roll. She is in no way shape or form guilty of the fatality. May his soul RIP.
