Looking for a 4" inch gray water check valve for septic tanks?

Featured Replies

Currently under construction and looking to see if anyone might know where to find two 4" inch gray water check valve for septic tank line. Can find in the US but will cost more to ship and customs fees than the valve itself. Appreciate if anyone knows where to find. Thanks in advance.

Go to the local big  building supply store Thai Watsudu,Homepro,Homemart etc and buy what they have there, forget about American standards and fittings use what is available locally adapt design to what is available.

What are you looking for? a "full opening 4'' brass or SS check valve" I would have thought any decent hardware store would have. Where are you located?

CGW they are usually made from PVC material. Local shops like Homepro/Global house don't even know what this is. It is something not typically used in thai homes here. I will check boonthavon shop in Chiang Mai since I have to go there anyways. Thanks for the comments.

What I usually do is type what I want in English, do a google translate into Thai. Paste them and go online for a photo of what you want and paste that.

Save it and print it then take it around with you shopping and if they can't read English or understand the Thai translation they should be able to work from the photo.

billd766, great tip much appreciated. I will do this before heading out on my expedition. Thanks for the tip.

Go to a swimming pool supply store or a water System store which sells pumps and pipes and fittings. They sell the PVC check valves.
