Is this what they did on "One" Street in Pattaya? For this to work... The whole City, Daily for at least 1 month... Incubation time 14 days... about right Then insure there are no Tourists there, Period!

Or you would need to start again...

The guy is a dick, first of all when there were no masks he said they were not necessary.

He then got his hands on some for a photo shoot, and said they were.

The masks have run out and now they are not necessary again.

Can anyone see the pattern here?

Absolutely.

Gross incompetence, not upto the job, no qualifications etc.

And couldn't care a toss about the populace at large.

Here's a nice fact.....Germany 188 confirmed cases....Thailand only 42! Must have been all those Chinese travelling to Germany and very few in Thailand! Or just like Iran, no way to test more than a handful of people! So the the remainder are simply sick. 1 month and social media will explode on the hospital overload. Then the government lies will be exposed.

The most common way of spreading this virus is by contact. Thais don't embrace or shake hands when meeting in the street. Germans and especially Italians do. Same in Iran. There's a lot to be said for a polite wai.

As one poster mentioned; the biometric fingerprint scanners at the airports are a big problem, not sure why officials don't understand this. Masks are only good for people who have the virus, and people working with people who have the virus. Hands are a much more vulnerable means of transmission.
