If the price is right I'm on it like a car bonnet. All the sound and feel but at normal highway speeds. It is more exciting to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow.

Each cylinder fires once every two revolutions on a 4-stroke.   4 strokes: suck stuff bang belch

Now if you want to impress your friends and annoy the neighbors, you need a 500cc Honda NSR500 V4.  At a leisurely 12,000 RPM, it could put out nearly 200 HP.  Of course being a 2-stroke, it fired eve

250cc?

Make it an inline four 400cc and I'd be interested.

And it comes back at circa 249,000 Baht ...

How does this compare with other bikes in Thailand?

Nothing even comes close. Best so far is the twin cylinder 300cc Benelli and Kawasaki and the 321cc Yamaha , giving about 40 BHP.  A 250cc four cylinder giving 59 BHP will really kick things off. I would price it about 280/310 K.

The cbr 250rr is 250,000 b, twin, 38.2 bhp

Does this thing exist ?. 4 cylinders , 59 BHP. For sale in Thailand. Ive never seen one. Would be nice though. The Yamahas and Kawasakis of the Eighties would rev up to 20,000 RPM

The cbr exists but not 4 but 2 cylinders. Expected to be upgraded to 4 and a it more power.

The CBR650R (4-cyl, approx. 95 bhp but with ram air, closer to 100 at speed) lists for 325k baht.  So for about 80k baht ($2,600US) more, you get a lot more bike (in my opinion). One that comes with dual-channel ABS and switchable (on/off) traction control. But you can find low-mileage CBR650Rs (1-2k km, a couple even under 1k km) for 265k baht range.

This bike looks like fun, but at that price not good value IMHO.

Thanks. It seems the Honda has 38BHP , but the Kawasaki has 59BHP. Some difference.

17,000RPM! I love screamers.

My VRF400 NC30 had 14,500RPM red line. First gear 100km/h, 2nd 140km/h. I loved that bike. I want 17,000!

This little Kawa would be great for short runs up the soi to the corner 7-11 in the wee hours of the night.  Just add some unmuffled megaphone pipes and keep it down to 15,000 RPM in consideration of the neighbors. I hope it doesn't have a weak, thin slipper clutch like the 400s.

That sounds like a great idea, I will keep it in mind. ????

You can get a CB650R for about 300k. Why waste your time with this?

Because that little bike has still more than enough power and it definitely will be a lot of fun.

I was asking about pricing. Sorry.

I don't see anywhere details regarding its weight and dimensions yet. This is an interesting bike but I'm guessing it won't be cheap.

250cc size bike with 4 cylinder, 59HP and 17,000RPM. Who cares about the other little details? ????

Well i.e, if it's built too lightweight or too small, bigger/taller guys might prefer the 650's instead.

Weight and dimensions could also be deciding factors esp of it'll cost the same as bikes at the 400-650cc range.

There are still some Honda 250 fours lurking in Thailand. Two at least on Ko Samui, or used to be.

Cbr500 (471cc)

Benelli 600 (inline 4)

Let's get that rear wheel on a dyno to really see the real BHP.

59 at the crank, Kawa are known for losing a lot by the time it gets to the asphalt. Probably high 40s.

Much more fun than the total failure that the CBR250RR is. But I don't think it'll sell well here. A 650 is much much better value. I'd like to ride one for a bit but I wouldn't own one, I would miss the low down torque. At 150k I would consider it but that's not possible. And getting a second hand one would give me pause also as I'm sure all owners will rev the sh#t out of it, and I couldn't blame them for doing so ????

Kawa seems to be building a lot of bikes that are pretty sweet in their own right but are not exactly great sellers. Anyways, kudos to them for doing it.

The rr doesn’t sell , true. But I guess the Kawasaki won’t sell for the same reason, price. They look lovely though the cbr rr.

No front basket or luggage rack.  Does it have a phone charger or a mount to watch videos on your phone or even a beer holder while you try something?  Given the shape of the seat and tank, you'd be hard-pressed to carry more than your girlfriend and two tiny kids on it.
