Thai Channel 7 TV news reported yesterday that less than 1,000 Europeans remained in Hua Hin - down from 10,000.

Norway was the latest country to advise its nationals to return home.

Locals were reporting a 70% drop in tourism.

The media reported that everywhere was quiet including the bar area of Soi Bintabaht where they had hoped to remain open.

The midday report preceded news that the bars were shutting until the end of the month.

Interesting. Euro is much more impacted then here (according to the government)

so not sure why everyone left.

I guess people are returning home for better/free medical care.
