They can use that for 3 day, then must return to doctor get new letter. Every 3 day must be new.

right after they visit  the doctor they then get infected and show  no symptoms for  up to 14  days, waste of  time really. What they really  need is  a  fast covid  test ONLY

Ranong and Phangnga have no covid, so the rule is to stop it.

How do you stop zero infections? Or do they need some?

Another problem is many Burma people go to Ranong for return to Burma.

You should be very familiar with Prachuap Khiri Khan, right?

Did you know that there's a waterfall where you only go up and you are in Myanmar?

Welcome back, Ying.

From tomorrow if another province people want to enter, eg for work, they must have letter from doctor.

What does the letter have to say, because it won't say youre free from COVID 19 as its not possible to get a test?

NOt that I'm driving to Phangnga myself but if I wer, could I go to the reception at Dr Chusak's and pick up a medical certificate for 50 baht?

NB the border at Ranong is already closed. Lots of Burmese workers are stuck in Phuket.

The immigration border is closed. But before today the road from another province is open.

= many Burmese worker want return Burma, because no work=no money.

They still go the “secret” way, not go immigration way. Can walk it. So road block make it difficult.

Especially from Phuket. Only one road.

Testing has been done only for those with symptoms or suspected exposure.  Which is why almost all positive cases are in hospital where is should be way less than 20% of the total that require such treatment.

To be clear : if you want to drive in your own private car from Phuket to Krabi without stopping in Phang Nga, you cannot do it anymore  ?

You need doctor letter enter Phangnga. The rule. Can use it for 3 day.

if can say “I go Krabi” and enter, everybody will say “I go Krabi”

Maybe If housebook Krabi, MAYBE can go.

They just make the rule today. I not know about every detail/situation.

Just post out information I know to help the TVF member.

I wouldn't attempt that at present though...soldiers are patrolling the border and trespassers are being handled very seriously now. In normal times, no problem.

Case in point, a second group of 4 Chinese nationals has been arrested for attempting to cross from Thailand to Myanmar. The first group tried to cross in the other direction. Both of these cases occurred near Mae Sot. This was after 81 Burmese were detained after trying to cross into Myanmar illegally in the same area.
