Irish Clock - Udon Thani

Featured Replies

I saw that this pace was up for sale for a massive amount of money.

The ad has since disappeared and I take it that no one was stupid enough to pay what was being asked or even in the region as it was crazy money.

Any comment?

How much was they asking?

Even before the virus soi sanpan has been quite.

A friend of mind tried selling his bar in samui for 3 million baht no fxxxking chance. And again this was before the virus

The building and business isn't what the high price relates to. This street is progressively been built up with boutique hotels and restaurants. The large international hospital has annexed land at the north end. The land the Irish Clock sits on is very expensive.

Just a classic as everywhere isn't it? I mean, they ask 7500 per square wah everywhere too, few who actually pay that.
Or like 1.5 million for a little old <deleted> house with land, 200KM from the nearest big city.

Progressively, as in, "in the process of..".

Khun "Ooh", owner of the Panarai, had good vision building where he did.

That street has been going downhill for years, girlie bars , hotels low occupancy, nutty park down the street is basically closed, hope the Chinese come n and save the day, it surely ain't the falang!

up and coming area????????

Bar next to Italian restaurant seems to do ok.. I’ve not been there

in two years maybe that’s changed...The corner bar by 7/11 was busy

before but 2 years ago seemed business has slowed down there ..

I saw one listing at 4.5m some time ago, whether that was the final offering - no idea, for the land, location and size of property I don't think that is a ridiculous price.

Rubbish joint has been up for sale for years. Was purchased and the flamboyant character that purchased it did a runner leaving it back in the hands of the original owner who was still owed money.

Let's be correct here unless it's a different offer now it's the lease on the bar and the massage place next door that is for sale not the property itself. The property is Thai owned and to my knowledge is not now or ever been for sale. An 8 year lease however was.

Found the place over rated and pricey compared with other places to stay or eat.
