Wanted To Buy - Suzuki Vstrom or similar

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I am chasing 650 (1000) Suzuki Vstrom or the Kawasaki Versys 650.

No idea when I will get to go back home, so figured it's time to explore over here once the sanctions are lifted :)

Would also consider a Yamaha FJR 1300, which I have back in Aus.

Thanks

Kawasaki Versys 650.

You can get a good bargain s/h Kwack Versys ideal for touring Thailand.

I have noticed Kawasaki Versys 650 is very popular here, and there are many used ones for sale,  just look in bahtsold.com...., on my road trips I always get one passing me..., I'm only on 300cc after all...????

Another one is Kawasaki Vulcan 650S, it's a cruiser shape and sitting position as oppose to Versys, I have seen the reviews and all good...

I'm guessing the engine is the same in these and the Ninja 650, so probably bullet proof in that respect, just need to test-drive and decide on the shape and comfort...

Not many VStorm I have come across...

For a smoother ride, V-Strom.  Dealerships, parts and mods and a little more fun to ride then the Versys.  Hammered my 2013 with no issues at all.  Hard off road too.
