Never ever, be on the inside of a baht bus, they are extremely likely to pull over to the left without warning.

I also avoid riding near the gutter in town, dangerous place to be. Thai drivers do not concern themselves with items not in their forward line of sight. Put it down to experience.

Yes, this is a must, I always overtake, never undertake a baht bus, learnt along time ago.

These guys will pull over to the left sharply, without notice or idicators.

On this occasion we were both turning left, plenty of room (roughly 3 lanes).

Perhaps I forgot to add that lines on the road (lanes)mean nothing to them... the path of choice is that of shortest distance and may include minimum wheel turning effort. Smaller vehicles are expected to give way... well more accurately had better or else.

Every time you venture out on a motorbike, you should be expecting this sort off thing...

Keep an eye on your mirrors and not the occasional working girl ????

Stay safe next time...

many motor bikes DO NOT have MIRRORS or number plate showing at the rear !!

No bikes that I ride, not that number plates will affect you getting killed.

But in Australia the police are keen to hear of these type of drivers.

We dont want these type on the roads.

I once got some satisfaction calling in a complaint about a BKK taxi driver, but I was a passenger. Not sure how well the baht bus drivers association reacts if at all. Forget about comparing to Oz, as they say, you are not in Kansas any more Dorothy.

I thought if they took some details and if a fatality or a bad accident happens in the future with this guy at the wheel they can be prosecuted.

If he has and accident and no video of the accident its these type of drivers that get of with their talk and lies.

In Australia have you had a similar experience? Maybe it’s your forte!

Sadly here unless there's a few bob it for them the the local effers dont want to know.

I am still convinced in the countryside the brain dead horrendously fat  women driving salengs are the worst they have no concept of traffic laws are too fat idle and stupid to care

And they say this virus kills the obese but this bunch still seem to be around daily, there's no justice

I just give baht buses a wide berth, and expect them to behave like a###holes.

Complaining about anything in Thailand is equivalent to insulting the person. Never goes anywhere.

I never complain, I simply mark down any business that gives me s###ty goods or service as one to be avoided in future. People who treat me right have me coming back.

It's the law of the jungle that applies on the Thai roads, whoever's the biggest and meanest gets the right of way. On a small motorbike like a PCX you're near the bottom of the jungle's pecking order, you should know that if you've been driving here for long. Dangerous driving doesn't come into it, half the idiots on the roads here drive like lunatics at least some of the time. It's all about survival, and to survive you need to understand and accept your place in the scheme of things.

Really, I had a Thai friend who drove a pickup truck. Last year he was doing a turn of Suk somewhere down near Bang Saray and got into an argument with a garbage disposal lorry. A truck is big and heavy, but like a feather compared with the garbage lorry. He lost the argument and also his life, sad to say, but that's the crazy way things work in this country.

I guess, there is a wat, and also a school . It's across approx soi16.  The office has brown facade front. Just walk along just North of the overpass it is obvious a baht bus office.

Just standard behaviour on thai roads, you have to expect it. Report a thai to the Police for bad driving ha ha.

I don't find it funny at all.

So what would you have done if you were forced of the road?
If someone tried to injure you?

Do tell.

Mate....................if you're going to comment, read my post.

As I said, he pulled up around the corner on second road behind his mates.
It would have been suicidal to confront him.

If i went to the Police every time a Thai cut me up on the road i would spend my whole life in the Police station. You have to accept it as part of living/driving in Thailand.

I’ve been cut off many times, I always give a nod and a smile, nobody is perfect and I make mistakes at times.

But this guy’s act was nasty, out of the blue, just looking for someone to harm, it’s scary. This guy used his car as a weapon.

Anyway, we just got to be more careful.

Have some empathy. This guy is probably doing terribly of late with no tourist customers, and there is a falang, with his own transport no less, rubbing it in. He felt the need to lash out.... you should be on foot needing his services! ????

Yep, I reckon that's what the guy is thinking.

Take care out there
