Top 10 troubles you will find during retirement in Thailand
I think a bit of a diservice was made in the visa section - I found that the wealthy pensioner LTR from the BOI to be the least amount of paperwork needed for the visa and for the yearly notification of residence (varies of course here need to read the actual benefit) and then the fifth-year renewal, again with limited amount of paperwork needed. If one meets the requirements of this 1 of 4 visas offered, then this can be the easiest visa to obtain and maintain. It is for me anyway, I had a retirement O for 20 years but now have the LTR. Good luck. -

Poll: Who will Kamala Harris pick to be her VP?
About this... Walz needs to be seen in the context of the rapid fall of Minnesota, and particularly what happened to the Twin Cities. The Twin Cities of Minneapolis & St. Paul used to be one of the nicest, safest cities in the United States. The Mary Tyler Moore show was set there for good reason, it was friendly, safe place. Minnesota used to be purple and quite centrist. The local Democratic party is called the DFL - the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party. That was how Minnesota politics worked - the cities in the metro area allied with the unions (primarily in the mining Northeast) who allied with the farmers. They went against the Twin Cities suburbs and businessmen, it was always polite, and the state was even. The big shift happened with the mass influx of Somalis, along with the Dems trying to bring in blacks from other metro areas. The "nice" Repubs being controlled opposition, they of course did nothing to stop this process. The demographics changed sharply, crime rates soared, and the political situation rearranged itself. Along with much of the rest of the country, enough of the suburbs switched to the Dems, that along with the newly black metro areas, the Dems began to get a decisive margin. + few little things - Walz quit the National Guard when he was about to be deployed to Iraq - Walz Openly Embraced And Attended Islamic Center Affiliated With ISIS whose Imam Teaches Sharia Law and has called for the murder of Jews (Dar Al-Farooq Islamic center in Minnesota known for being a key location for recruitment of ISIS terrorists, according to the FBI. ) There's a lot more on this. - Walz Signed a Bill Redefining the Term "Sexual Orientation" to include pedophiles (see attachments) - Walz has deep Chinese ties. He’s been to China over 30 times and doesn’t think they’re our biggest rival. In fact, he says he’ll never be treated as well as he was in China. He even set up a program to take high school students to China every summer for nearly a decade. According to reports, the Chinese government paid for some of them. While they were abroad, Walz reportedly told students to downplay their “American-ness.” - The VERY FIRST executive order Gov. Tim Walz signed upon taking office was establishing a “council on DEI” - Minnesota National Guard Leaders Expose Tim Walz for Stolen Valor, Lying About His Rank, and Quitting When His Unit Was Deployed to Iraq. "As soon as the shots were fired in Iraq, he turned and ran the other way and hung his hat up and quit," said Tom Behrends, a retired command sergeant major who replaced Gov. Tim Walz on a deployment to Iraq. Could do many more but I'll keep this one short.. Radical marxist like Kamala. -

I agree. Of course, they shouldn’t release details to any Tom, Dick or Harry, but I would think family members have the right to know if a loved one was on a particular flight. -

Von Mises? He had the right idea. Trouble is 90% of humans are no good. Thats why we have dysfunctional societies and stupid politicians. The average voter has a 100 IQ and they vote on personality. Society will never improve until intelligence does. -
