Popular Post MarkZ
You know how bad people feel under this quarantine. You cannot move freely wherever you want, every checkpoint on the road check your documents, check your temperature. You have to wear mask like a muzzle. I cannot enter any supermarket or public transport without mask. Many businesses closed, people have no jobs no money, some do not even have food. You know what is staying at home for month without an opportunity to walk or go swimming pool. Before this madness every time I go Pattaya streets were full of people with smiles and joy. All massages closed, bars are closed, you cannot see smiles under masks. I cannot believe that happened. I just want to go in the past. The world in the past was way better, we had freedoms we had choice. Edited April 27, 2020 by MarkZ 3

It is just absurd to torture people like that.

Popular Post holy cow cm
You can thank the Chinese government and their super elite corporations for this. Just another tip of their foul iceberg the world will have to ingest unless it puts them back into in to a no where oblivion. 4
Popular Post Mansell
Try living with two kids in lockdown.....full time job keeping them entertained and stimulated. One just lost a video game punched his tablet and then bit it and it is now officially kaputski. So stop whining. We all dodged WWII, Korean War, hopefully Vietnam War, Falkland Islands War, and the Iraq War....except me as I was in the SAS...Salvation Army Sods....Yuck yuck yuck. So life isn’t that hard. We have hopefully all our limbs, eyesight, and hearing but no hair. Get a grip people. 4

4MyEgo
We have been in lockdown since the kids school holidays started, albeit I would get out 3 nights a week to the locals for a few drinks, some socialising and the like until 20 March when they shut them down. It is starting to take its toll, 4 kids and a wife who look after themselves entertainment wise, although we have pulled everything back till after lunch for them as we see the change in them and want to bring them back to mainstream life, no iPad/Tablet.Netflix/TV/Mobiles etc et etc till after 1pm and lights out at around 9pm for the younger girls and 11pm for the teenage boys. If Prayut wants to keep us under control for longer, that is going to backfire IMO, he should start loosening the chain with conditions, e.g. wearing of masks in public places mandatory till further notice, checking of temperatures before entering stores, sanitizing of hands, open the parks, open the shopping centres and the food courts, restaurants, cinema's bars etc etc, but have strict provisions in place and get your lazy police force out there and enforce fines for non compliance, oooops, forgot where I was again for a moment.

I think you have to let people do what they are going to do, that said, they don't have a competent police force here to enforce the laws, they are as lazy as f IMO. The lockdown is primarily to quell the COVID-19 virus transmission and infection rate and I believe it is working. The balancing act is the virus infections/transmission vs economy fallout effect. Khun Prayut Chan O Cha ( imo ) has and is successfully minimizing the risk of infections with the lockdown in place. Not everyone agrees with these decisions, but obviously they are necessary. Thanks. 1 1

They can't open places like bars where no social distancing is possible. And I think they will not do it for a while. In my opinion the Thai government did a great job so far. Especially if I look at western countries and what is done there. 1
Popular Post 1FinickyOne
I am going to guess you have never been tortured... if you came for a holiday, well, bad luck and I am sorry for the difficulties but we are all going through this so that this virus will not spread exponentially and everyone gets sick... nobody is enjoying this - we are all hoping it is saving lives... maybe yours too... deep breath and hang in there - - good luck to you.. ps... far far far more people are dying of the virus than suicide... not even close.

ben2talk
Strangely I never missed the closed bars, massage parlors, or smiling whores. Come to think of it, I don't much like crowds either... Nicer to stay home with a hot cup of tea and read a book, listen to music, catch up on some TV... Schedule a good brisk 20 minute walk every morning before breakfast and again after 6pm to get the blood pumping. I must say the air quality is excellent and smells so much better. Grumpy one
For me this lock down has one positive going for it Before it began my neighbour would arrive home blind drunk every night, cant blame him for that, with his wife I would do the same. Anyway the yelling and cursing would start soon after and continue for hours. Now when they wake up its a quick screaming match then all quiet till the next day,
