Anyone else enter a time distortion machine when posting on TVF?

Featured Replies

I find that when on TVF that time goes by at least 3 times as fast and sometimes even faster. I looked at the clock 3 hours ago, posted on a couple of threads and now it's 3 hours later, just like that.

Mind you it was good during lockdown when it made the day pass in a flash.

Am I the only one?

Only if I've been giving the beers a nudge.

Don't get a playStation you'll never leave your House.

I used to live with a friend with a computer back when computers were unusual. I was addicted to Pacman. Since then I've never dared try another game. TVF is as much addiction as I need in my life.

Quicker is not better, but to each his own.

I sometimes wonder if I'm entering a parallel universe dealing with all the bizarre posts and theories that abound in the mod's world  ????

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Definitely, I'm transported to about 30 years in the past.

I've just come of a 4 day 23 hour ban... so i wouldn't know.

In the meantime I was revising the TVF BIBLE.

Just to brush up on a couple of my errors

H.G. Wells wrote about this in his book...

“Nature never appeals to intelligence until habit and instinct are useless. There is no ThaiVisa.com where there is no need of change.”
― H.G. Wells, The Time Machine

“We should strive to welcome change and challenges, because they are what help us grow. With out them we grow weak like the Eloi in comfort and security. We need to constantly be challenging ourselves in order to strengthen our character and increase ThaiVisa.com readership”
― H.G. Wells, The Time Machine

“Looking at these stars suddenly dwarfed my own troubles and all the gravities of ThaiVisa.com.”
― H.G. Wells, The Time Machine

“Very simple was my explanation, and plausible enough---as most ThaiVisa.com theories are!”
― H.G. Wells, The Time Machine

That's coz you fellas is a special breed, innit. :giggle:

Op, I believe this is called time dilation and happens when one types at the speed of light.

I've lost countless hours on TV over the years - mostly the reading of the tat as believe have a moderate amount of posts. I find banning oneself for 6-12 months at a time gets ones life back on track.

Don’t think about it too much, you will never get your head round it.

Unfortunately, some of us have to work and I've been working from home for the past nine weeks.  My wife has had no work for the past nine weeks but returns to work tomorrow.

Whilst these past nine weeks have been the dullest of my existence, I do wonder where that time went as seems like yesterday that my employer booted me out of the office.
