greasy fingerprints

Featured Replies

I recently had some roof damage repaired on my pickup, this necessated

removing the headliner. I now have greasy fingerprints to clean up on the

headliner. Any suggestions as to what would work best without compounding

the problem?

Buy a tin of spray foam upholstery cleaner, if you find STP brand, it is excellent, think I bought a tin in Tesco years back...

+1 on the upholstery cleaner.

But my first port of call would be the repair outfit that installed the paw prints in the first place (could be too late now if you've paid them).

Hot water, damp a sponge and use washing up liquid, create a laver, then wipe off with a dry towel. Repeat the process a few times before you decide whether or not you need to buy any products.

No, just buy a tin of spray foam, there is no water to fu_k things up, just a nail brush and a damp cloth to remove the dirt that has been "lifted" out of the material......????
