One of the three police corporals who allegedly tortured and killed beloved dog Tia, who was adopted by students in Chiang Mai University, has been dismissed from civil service.

The incident, which took place in May, has shocked locals and animal rights group Watchdog Thailand has been pushing for justice.

Chang Phueak police station reportedly has evidence of the animal being taken out of the campus at night, tortured and the body being dumped by the suspects.

Apart from the dismissal of one suspect, a committee will also be set up to investigate the case.

National police chief General Chakthip Chaijinda himself has said he will ensure justice is served.

Torturing and killing this little dog was good for what ?

All it probably did was to dislike the police officers , and that for a good reason .

But , may be , they found pleasure in torturing and killing a dog ?

Sick bastards .

Make sure you do Chakthip.

Many times we here similar comments by police chiefs, then nothing happens, this time make sure it does.

I"ll be surprised if this ever gets heard about again.

Give it 2 weeks, old news and forgotten, like so many other similar stories we never ever hear or read of a conclusion.

So cute you are.  Think you are clever.  I heard that kind of <deleted> in the lowest of places here 35 years ago when I settled in.

You really think that I have expectations of law enforcement here?  Sheeiat I do not expect it anywhere except perhaps Singapore.

Very Valid point Yinn, Thai Visa "News" service leaves a lot to be desired.
