Is it allowed and possible to deregister a motorbike in the province its bought and driven when moving to another province for then to reregister the motorbike with registration plates from the new (other province) when moving?

No need to do something like that take bike with you to your new address and have new address put in book at that local DLT .

You just go to new place and register it at new province,  they do the rest. In my case they gave me a new number plate, took the old one, and updated the green book and everything..., well, it was in seller's name so after that I transferred it to my name too, it was a two step process.... Yours will be just step 1.
