Utter carnage: Pick-up collides with six wheel truck in Rayong

Pictures published on the Thai media site of Naew Na showed yet more utter carnage on the Thai roads.

This time a pick-up driven by 25 year old Phiphat  collided with a six wheel truck driven by Arthit, aged 29.

The pick-up was almost unrecognizable. Phiphat was dead by the side of the road after being thrown out of his vehicle.

The truck driver was injured but was able to give his version of events saying that the pick-up had crossed the central line.

Pluak Daeng police and a local rescue organisation were left to clear up the mess after the accident on the Pluak Daeng to Rong Namtan Road in Rayong yesterday.

drunk drivers back on the roads again - no effective policing to do anything about it

lets have an alcohol ban and curfew - that should sort it

One of these obviously didn't work:

Sad that he died but thats some impressive carnage !!

To be honest here , I very much doubt if the outcome would have been any different if the driver was wearing a seat belt , Could it have been wrecked anymore ?

One can only say "WOW" !!! what is it about pickup drivers ? EVERY incident I have ever had here has been with a pickup driver ????

There's a hierarchy on the road, and six wheel trucks rule.

Holy <deleted>, batman...

I suppose, if you're going to crash, better make it something special...

That is a high speed impact for sure to cause that mess!

No mate, the 6 wheelers bow deeply to the 18 wheelers loaded with steel rolls.

I didn't know pick ups came in a convertible,.

But I am impressed how he converted to tilt cab into a lay down cab

Because the rich can get police escorts on the roads but the Chinese virus can kill anyone

Agreed, but from this collision he would've been dead anyway.

Yes, I thought about that after my post. It would make scraping the bits up into a bag a lot easier though as they would probably still be in what is left of the cab.

+1 to the article 4 above this one.
