Thai media Manager reported that Cha-Am beach in Petchaburi was packed at the weekend with both Thai and foreign tourists.

People at the province's favorite beach were playing in the sea and enjoying the food all along the sands.

Most were in families and groups.

There was heavy traffic in the area but the authorities were coping.

One couple from Sathupradit in Bangkok who had a tent, said Cha-am was near to their home and was worth visiting because it is nice and clean.

They had been in lockdown for a long time but were finally free to venture out.

Thailand is on holiday for four days, July 4th to 7th.

Manager said that Cha-Am and nearby Hua Hin were expected to remain busy for the rest of the holidays.

packed with foreign tourists ? must be virtual tourists, maybe e-tourists

Ahhh...the good old days....in the deck chairs, heaps of food, several bottles of Hong Thong and Chang later, then all drive back to BKK after lunch.

What else is there?

I live 1 block back from the beach where there is plenty of parking.

The lazy sods who visit drive up an down the beach all day looking for a parking spot

I guess its way too complicated to park and walk
