I read the WP article above this morning... Good read, but I was hoping from the headline that it would be more of an international perspective on why so many Americans have bought the Trump loony farm on the CV... But it didn't really go that direction...so....

 

One of my favorite passages in the article was the following, speaking to the heightened state of American ignorance and denial fostered by Trump:
