jacko45k Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Shocking and brazen.... presumably followed from Bali Hai and cameras (if working) could be reviewed. 1
Popular Post ezzra Posted July 29, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 29, 2020 Nothing really shocking or surprising in whatever happens in Pattaya and even less so in the motorcycles taxi community that are know to be a group of people that anything goes as long as the pay is right... 7

Hmm. With my usual sarcasm I'd suggest if the cameras were 'working' could well depend on how well off or influential the perpetrator is. Therefore expect a day or two wait while the police 'examine all the CCTV footage'. 3 3
Popular Post mikebell Posted July 29, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 29, 2020 The Plod will find him eventually; he'll be charged, then five years down the line a senior officer in the Armed forces will come forward and testify it wasn't murder but an accident caused by the motor cycle driver himself. 6 8
Jim1000 Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Hmmm so this is the new post Covit Pattaya ? Sounds familiar ! 1

PETERTHEEATER Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 An 11mm bullet and casing were recovered at the scene and taken into evidence. No, it was a 0.45 ACP a Thai assassin favourite. 1

ExpatOne Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 When I lived there I saw a guy shot in the head while he was driving. It was at night though. It was the first murder I had seen. The rest of the deaths I have seen here have all been on the road.
rwill Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Perhaps another driver who felt his fare had been taken from him. 1
pacovl46 Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 The real question is, how did the perpetrator know exactly where the guy was going to be? Did he follow them.

First I'd check out the return from Koh Larn at noon story. I guess people go out to the island and back before noon on many days. That spot is just up from the back side of the popular South Street Market, somebody heard the shot and knows something to help catch the perp. 1
Leaver Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Usually the motorcycle taxi guys ride off quite quickly after being paid. She says she got off (assuming she paid) walked away and heard a shot. I wonder how far she got to walk away before the shot was fired? Around 11:30am is early to be coming back from Koh Larn. He could have been followed from Bali Hai, but they could have assassinated him prior to this fare. I wonder if the Thai lady is in a relationship.
worgeordie Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 But....But, Pattaya is supposed to be an International high class family resort,at least that's what the Pattaya authorities keep saying, this kind of thing should be be happening there???? regards worgeordie
sammieuk1 Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Sounds like a hitman for gambling debts that will now never be paid ????Rip

tifino Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 did he have a plastic helmet on? to slow the bullets exit
Redline Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Time to pay up, or end up in a tourist attraction ????
HauptmannUK Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 There is a translation error. The Thai article says School 8 Moo 10, not Moo 8.

For those who do not, likely you imagine ganglang hits in broad daylight at every 7-11 on a daily basis. I assure you that is not the case, if anything things are quieter of late.

LiamB80 Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 With Thais, it could have been something as simple as he didn’t like the way the guy looked at him. Some very fragile egos amongst this group. About five years ago a thai shot another thai off a buakhow side soi, blatantly said he didn’t like the way he walked or the way he looked at him, so he shot him.
