Trump's sister says, in secret recordings, he has 'no principles' and is cruel

Where in my post above did I say I knew Trump better than his sister knows him?

Go ahead and refute my own personal experience regarding these matters and believe, without any knowledge or evidence (unless you want to produce it) that Trump's sister does indeed know her brother.  100% certain.  LOL  On what basis?

If, in fact, she had shared a home with Trump for many years, your point would just just be silly. But since they grew up apart...oh wait a minute.

Cruel with no principles? Can see why he went into politics. The only difference I see is that Trump entered politics very rich, rather than just suspiciously getting that way while in office...

The one I really like is the $talking$ circuit where former presidents get paid a fortune from bankers and large companies for speeches no one is interested in. At least in Asia they are straight forward about their corruption.

And what 20th or 21st century President got suspiciously wealthy while in office? And what other President wealthy before he got into office refused to put his holdings in a blind trust? Who actually profited from being guarded by the Secret Service? Who pushed for his own resort to play host to the G7?

She didn't say it in public. Her, IMO, vile niece secretly recorded her to get dirt for her book. I'd like to be in the room when those two meet up.

Nevertheless, another one off the Christmas card list.

So you see vileness in his niece, but not in Trump himself? Interesting.

Or very simply they do not care what he does .. as long as it serves them to have him as president?  Or maybe they are just like him? .. Or admire what he does and what he stands for?  Even if they do not believe everything that is said about him .. lets say 20% is incorrect ....  The 80% you are left with - take just the 20000 lies ... So are 16000 lies is maybe OK.

Interesting timing,

Are you going to push that inane insinuation on any topic that doesn't sing Trump's praises? Do you think that Trump related issues ought to be dropped until the elections? Do you apply the same nonsensical "principle" when commenting on the opposition?

What's funny is that this story was even posted in TV, of all the things going on in the world what Trump's sister said is now world news.

What's funny is how you do not seem to have similar objections to similar negative stories posted on TVF, so long as they target political figures of the other side.

Every day it's something new thrown at this guy. Anyone else would have had a mental breakdown from the hatred and victimisation he's had to put up with during his presidency.

Every day Trump slings mud, bile and hatred. Ignoring the fact that many of the criticism and negativity he gets are in response to his own actions and words, that's a choice. Many Trump supporters seem to imagine it's a one-way street. It is not.

As for having  a mental breakdown, not sure if he Tweeter tantrums qualify, or whether the numerous instances in which he turns interviews, statements, speeches and whatnot into either attacks on rivals, rants or plain whining sessions will do.

Trump is, maybe, a victim of his own ego.

My sister would claim to know me (she has said so) yet she doesn't know me at all.  Therefore, from personal experience I can attest to the fact that siblings don't necessarily "know" each other as much as they would claim.

Oh, you provided unverified personal anecdote as concrete proof? Great, that settles it then.

This treachery only plays into Trump's hands, following on from the rather feeble Dems convention. Sad.

How is this "treachery"?

How does it play into Trump's hands? Is it a very small treachery, perhaps?

Other than in your mind, the Dems convention was anything but "feeble". Even Fox news didn't echo your opinion.

Sad, indeed.

Negative stories of dems don't usually make it here on TV. wink - wink

Doing that alternative facts thing, again? There are such, but obviously less - hard to compete with Trump's "achievements" when it comes to bad behavior, odd statements and gaffs. Certainly, there's no shortage of Trump supporters trying to push whatever shred of Democrat negative stories to any USA political topic. I don't recall you having any issues with that, to put it mildly.

Please don't get personal about this and tell me what I have issues with.

And this info is "news" to whom??? :cheesy:

I've known this for 30 years. Was offered a job at one of his many failed endeavors in 1989. Turned it down...telling my colleagues and friends that I wouldn't work for, nor trust that POS (????) as far as I could spit. ????

Trump's own family saying that he's a complete scumbag who shouldn't be trusted means nothing, because 50% of the country already knows that, and 40% don't care, and 10% are probably off in space.  That second set probably believes it on one level too, but is somehow deluded into thinking something like "a dirty job requires an unscrupulous person," or some such BS.

Trump never should have been elected.  America more or less deserves him as a president if 40% of the country firmly backs him, even if 50% hate him.  That many people with that bad judgment and reasoning tells me that the whole country is all but not worth saving.

She was already a federal district judge when Donald was elected president....it could be she's bitter he didn't elevate her to an appellate or supreme court judgeship.

"it could be she's bitter he didn't elevate her to an appellate or supreme court judgeship"

I guess not! She is now 83 years old on June 30, 2011, she assumed senior status. She took inactive senior status in the first week of February 2017, about two weeks after her brother's inauguration as President.

And kellyanne conway resigning because her daughter wants to get away from her unconsionable support of trump.

Certainly seems trump supporters have very disfunctional private lives because of him.

Or it could just possibly be that she was already semi-retired by the time he became President.

I believe she took retired status (can still hear occasional cases upon request of the chief judge in her district) shortly after her brother became president. (It seems over-achievement runs in the family.)

Interesting that you still have such strong opinions of the man 30 years later...he must have made quite an impression on you. This is the mark of an "alpha" personality...it's no surprise he went on to become president.

It's interesting how many Trump supporters go on about this "alpha" nonsense. It's almost as if they were trying to compensate for something.

I could think of several personalities, world leaders and such, usually evoking strong opinions even after way longer time. Guess you'd adulate all of these as well, supposedly being  "alpha"'s and all that.

If Mary thinks she's going to "protect" her inheritance, she just ensured it will be eliminated, IMO. The Donald can hire better lawyers than she can.

What gets me is that Donald is a billionaire, gives his salary to charity, but going to fight with his family about money he dont need.

Seems a lot of posters only like democracy when the voters vote the way THEY think the voters should. If the Dems want to win they only have to have policies and a candidate that more people in more states vote for than the opposition.

All this Trump bad, Trump bad is because, IMO, they think they can't beat him at the ballot box with a better candidate and better policies.

I see even melania has been recorded blasting him.
