Think before you ink: Thai woman rants on social media about her terrible tattoo

A widely shared post from Nakhon Sri Thammarat in the south of Thailand featured a woman who had been to a tattooist in Muang district.

She got a tattoo that she said was nothing like what she wanted.

She said she wanted a "Phayanak" or King of the Nagas, a mythical beast of legend.

Instead she said she got a "big headed green snake".

She posted a warning to people about the tattooist who she said lacked "morals".

He was not taking this lying down.

He hit back saying that she had got what she wanted and it was suitable for a woman.

His attached post had quite a bit of foul language redacted in the Sanook article.

The tattooist claimed that he has plenty of satisfied customers and he couldn't care less.

Temporary tattoos are fine but I've never understood the desire to  permanently deface one's body.

Nothing wrong with tattoos, just make sure you get what you want...do your research first.

Yes, which is why he took to social media and lit into her.

Some of us watch what we eat and exercise...sagging is a lifestyle choice I reject...

To deface something is another persons treasure. Just ask the people saying Picasso art is beautiful.

Personally I hate tattoos, and a huge turnoff for me in a woman. I see it the same way as smoking. I used to make myself and don't mind people smoking in the bar with me, but I don't fancy women that smoke.

Why  don’t I have any tattoos???

For the same reason you don’t put a bumper sticker on a Ferrari.

I was expecting much worse, it looks okay.

Agree.  While it might not be exactly what she wanted it doesn't look that bad.  I don't know anything about getting a tattoo but don't they first draw the picture on your skin and then color it in ?  If so,  then she should have seen that what he drew on her wasn't exactly what she wanted.

Customer satisfaction is not a high priority in some establishments.

Especially if you like looking as if you have a skin disease. . . or, if a Thai girl, a hooker.

Nope. Tattoos are an individuals choice and no one else’s.

Would never dispute this.  Everyone has an individual right to appear skin diseased or look like a hooker.

Oh dear, that all you got...

Doesn't really matter how the tattoo looks like, it's like virginity, tramp stamps. Some Thai women are starting to look like gang members.

If a Thai woman has a tattoo there's a 98% certainty she is prostitute. One walk around Nana and you'll see nothing but tattooed hookers.
