I tried that, and when I tried to pay my registration I first had to pay the outstanding ticket at the Pattaya police station. They have your rego number.

It's incredible the degree of inconsistency and ‘YMMV’ (your mileage may vary) in Thailand.

 

We have had speeding tickets for years (car in Bangkok).. Never paid them, never and issue come tax renewal time etc.

 

Pay them if you want... but I dont think Thai Authorities handle these tickets with the same degree of seriousness that we are used to in Western countries....   the old.. ’never received the post’ line is always a valid excuse here...  

... in fact, somehow, the tickets we have arrive at my Wife’s parents address (in BKK) even though ALL of my wives documentation (Blue ID, Car, Licence etc) is registered at our address....
