The whole argument is flawed, the EU commission is ratified by the EU parliament.

Remind me who ratified the special advisers in No 10.

Ah, you mean Dominic! A mere paid worker bee and employee. He’s certainly not faceless – his face is plastered over all the chattering classes press and media.

How can you lot all decide that he’s the Machiavellian mastermind who is really ruling the whole country? You are all so fascinated with tales of political machinations, conflict intrigue and doom.  Did you even realise that Game of Thrones was an imaginary fantasy period drama, not actual real world history, or did you believe it all?

The ‘Marlow Warlord’ has been found buried on a hilltop above Thames Valley alongside highly decorated spears, shears and other paraphenalia

Polls are notoriously inaccurate based on who conducts them.

It doesn't mean there can never be another one. But you can't have them every 5 minutes either.

Since it was widely accepted that this was a once in a generation vote, I'd say around 2034 would be reasonable. Don't worry, it'll fly by.

It was widely accepted we would be staying in the EU.

Once in a generation was, and I seem to be repeating myself here, a throwaway line in an interview. If we are holding politicians accountable for that then why is Johnson not dead in a ditch?

Where in the legislation for the referendum does it state any timescale for another one?

What you say about when we can hold another referendum is asinine. No-one in Scotland is going to listen to you Brexiteers.

You will not have a vote and your opinions do not matter.

Most Brits do not consider other Brits as foreigners, only the SNP do that, such is the hatred of the SNP and the way they have conditioned their followers.

He doesn't have to be as he is only a advisor, a civil servant, an employee.

Allow me to correct you. It's the SNP that wants to leave the UK. Scotland voted to Remain in 2014.

The SNP's desire to subsequently join the EU is easily explained. They lack the balls to go it alone and since their hatred of the English is greater than their hatred of the French/Germans, they plan to go and hide under the EU's skirt.

the snp are under the illusion(or should it be delusion ) that they,ll be welcomed back like the prodigal son to the eu,scotland, the jewel in the crown.

A bureaucrat in other words ????.

And unelected at that.

Along with the house of Lords.

Oddly enough Vogie even after we get independence we will still be British.

Now I know you English nationalists get confused about the difference between English/British and what the boundaries are for where England ends and other countries start but truth is you will still not be foreigners.

There you go. He’s a simple British bureaucrat. We don’t elect them and they don’t rule us.

Oddly enough rookie, you were the one that called us foreigners. I am not an English nationalist but as sure as eggs are eggs, you are most certainly a Scottish nationalist, hence the hate that the SNP spawns for the rest of the UK, but predominately the English.

And you can band the nonsense of "after you get independence" as much as you like, you have had your opportunity to leave the UK, Scotland said no and your Uncle Boris is re-iterating that too by saying 'NO' Hoots mon.

Read the post I was responding to. Its not really that complicated.

But of course taking quotes out of context and portraying them in a different light has been a Brexiteer specialty for years hasn't it.

Did I not just say to you that even after we leave the UK we will still be British? Did that little nugget not register or something.

Johnson cant stop independence. Westminster cannot. The longer they try to prevent it the worse its going to get for you English nationalists. Its the best recruiting agent independence could ask for.

I think you are spending too much time on here, you don't even know what you are writing anymore.

And keep calling me an English nationalist is pure baiting, the Scots nats move in a very nasty way and that will be their downfall, they cannot keep lying and keep getting away with it.

Congratulations on splitting Scotland, you must be so proud.

I am perfectly aware of what I am writing. Your failure to comprehend what others have written is an inconvenience for me but hardly my fault.

Scots "nats" dont hate foreigners. The English "nats" do. The reason you dont think you are an English "nat" is because you equate England with the UK. You dont even realise you are doing it. Now personally I dont blame you for that. Its the environment you were brought up in. Since the victorian era the words England and British became interchangeable. Maps even showed the word England plastered across the whole of the UK.

After 2014 independence was pretty much going no-where. We still could not convince a majority in Scotland to vote for it.

Then along came Brexit.

Congratulations on splitting up the UK, you must be so proud.

Still you were warned that voting for Brexit would mean Scotland leaving the union and you went ahead and did it anyway so it really cant be that much of an issue for you now can it?
