I object, too. After the first debate, Trump lost lots of ground in the electoral polls. Please, let him do a repeat.

Trump's handlers may yank the leash to stop him from debating as they fear a repeat of the disastrous 1st debate. Short of cash, short of time and his brash style is hurting his election chances as he is driving away the independents and even moderate Reps in droves. I feel sorry for his supporters here as they scurried around to find solitude to moan.

No way, he'll see this debate is his last chance to turn the tide.

Have you not seen the crowds at his last appearances ??? tens of thousands and thousands more waiting in the rain to get in.

The Tide does not need to turn cos he is a Tsunami and its coming Nov 3rd

I cannot believe anyone still falls for the polls LOL FAKE FAKE FAKE just like they were in 2016.

I am sure Trump will shout loud enough that Biden won't understand his own words when he is talking.

I suggest a knockout hammer. If the shouting gets too loud he automatically gets hit on the head.

That might help. But then again it seems Trump received already too many hits on his head. A few more probably won't change much.

I can still remember 2012 when Republicans were crying FAKE and that the polls were skewed. In a way, they were right. They actually showed Romney doing better than he did. Including CNN.

They need to get an electric collar around his neck,so when he interrupts or won't

just shut up, just press the button, a 1000 volts should be OK.???? his hair would stand on end

Of course he does not like it. He deos not have a choice. A resounding defeat in this debate might be give him the tiniest chance of victory.

The last debate simply reflected the chaos and panic taking place in the mind of Trump.

Interruption is such a familiar form of disrespect. To be interrupted—in a meeting, in a casual conversation, on a presidential-debate stage—is to be told, with blunt efficiency, that your voice is not as important as the voice of the person who is talking over you. It is to be informed, through the prevention of the words you are trying to utter, that you matter just a little bit less.

He is headed toward the greatest humiliation of his lifetime. Why? Just one of the reasons is that contrary to the self created myth, Trump can barely negotiate his way out of a paper bag. Just think of how many have gotten over on him, and taken advantage of his lack of skill and prowess, in the past few years. Putin, Xi, Kim, MBS, and countless others. Now, the leaked tax returns paint the rest of the sorry picture. 17 major business failures! Possibly a record. And financial losses for decades. Unless he is lying to the IRS too. Very possible.

It's hard to interrupt and bully when people can't hear you. In the last debate it was nearly 10 minutes of interruptions from Trump, and 72 seconds of interruptions from Biden.

And I would be ready to pay a high bribe to be chosen as moderator! ????

Rallying his own die hard fanatic supporters will just wouldn’t cut it for Trump in his election bid. He need to reach out for the independent and even try win back the moderate republicans. The rallies are only reaching out to his small base. Plus the fact that he is not addressing the immediate concerns of the majority of voters. You need to face up to the reality of his mishandling of the pandemic and the economy.

regardless of last-minute rule changes from the biased commission in their latest attempt to provide advantage to their favored candidate,

Those who support this should be ashamed. Like him or not, neither candidate should get helped by the commission.

The trouble is that one of the candidates doesn't play well with others. As in not obeying the rules of the debate. Rules he agreed to.

if he acts this way in public, imagine how unbearable he must be in his white house staffing meetings, briefings with generals and cdc officials.

i imagine those briefings must be even worse than the circus where he ordered his pandemic experts to "look into" injecting disinfectant into the lungs, like a cleaning, and to bring yu-vee light into the body, somehow.  trump acting pompous, giving orders, while the real experts bite their lips and take it.

Donald's "Farewell Tour" is attracting the folks that just want to see him one last time before he departs to the dustbin of history. Turnout at rallies doesn't equate to votes at the voting booth. These attendees aren't there to support Donald, they are there to witness the one last car crash before the roads are closed. It is a gawkers' paradise to watch someone spout nonsense about flushing toilets 15 times, talk about "hydrosonic" missiles (whatever that is) and toss out "lock em all up" red meat lines.

At this point, Donald's rallies are all about showmanship and pandering to the base. The attendees enjoy the show, go home and get on with their lives without really caring to actually go and vote. But hey, Donald enjoys the rallies and that is all that matters to him. Something to stroke Donald's fragile ego and make him feel adored. It is a win-win.

The rest of us will go and vote for the only choice. The one candidate that actually has plans and policies. The candidate that can hold town halls and speak directly to the American public. Yep, Biden has shown twice now that he can beat Donald at the debate stage (once directly and once indirectly). Biden will do it again but of course Donald is already pre-playing the victim card with the next debate so expect his supports to claim likewise.

Yep.  I'd love to be a fly on Pence's head during those briefings.

Given the topic heading, for his futile efforts at turning the tide, he'll be known as Deleted Camute.

Edit:  Can't even say the word for a male sovereign without it getting auto censored now?  Try again: Deleted Henry the 8th.

Edit edit: Nope. Strange.

yes, same as hillary blaming "the rooshins" for stealing our democracy even before the results were in.

That would be true if it was his hair. I don't think it would work the same on a syrup.

its his wife that I feel sorry for. I'm sure the "elevator tape" will be released once he's gone.

Like Deleted Canute, he'll find that its futile. You can't hold a Tsunami back.

Deleted? That's a new one. 555

Trump is complaining about the mute button, because his method of debate is interrupting, and shouting an opponent down.

Effectively, it's like he has been castrated. Which, given his past history with women, is not such a bad idea.
