BKK Bank due by April 30th?
Went to DTaC ......... SIM in wife's name, can't change name without wife there. Went to Bangkok Bank ......... can't update details, needs to be home branch. Pointed out the message in my non working app says 'any branch' Passport number wrong ......... no that's my passport number from 2005, I've already updated it once or twice with BKB but the data doesn't seem to stick. Pointed out they've been issuing me new cards and bank books along with immigration letters for the last 9 years using my current passport (almost run out now), and I had my 9 years out of date passport with me. Somehow their cannot became can, can't believe how lazy the bank staff are! 45 minutes later and a tree worth of photo copies, my hand hurts from the 100 signatures. New ATM card, new passbook, phone banking still not working. -

Mae Hong Son loop twice
A manual bike is a must, there's sections where overheating of brakes is very common and dangerous, I've seen tourists stopping to cool the brakes down, I've done the loop quite a few times, both ways. -

Bali expats !!!
I didn't make an opinion. I asked you to tell me why those with tattoos are lower class. They aren't, as class has nothing to do with having or not having a tattoo but how you carry yourself. There are millionaires with tattoos, celebrities and politicians. This also doesn't mean they have a lot of class but most wouldn't look at them as lower class. Who are these others that agree with you that those with tattoos are lower class? You do know what birds of a feather means right? -

California these days?: No way, Jose? Better to live in Mexico?
There are many places in Mexico safer than California....BY FAR. I really enjoyed Villahermosa..... If I were to move to Mexico, then I would definitely closely look at this city. Great place. Wonderful. Crime used to be very low....in 1991.... Not sure about today, though. Food is great, if you like Mexican food, which I do. But, not as advanced as Thailand, of course. All facetiousness aside: I really loved this small city. It was a gem. And, probably still is. If I were to move to Mexico...then.... This would be first on my list.... Hope this helps you.....
