I think that the government must be totally oblivious to everything that is happening around the world.  Otherwise they wouldn’t spout such rubbish daily.

I hope the people of Thailand have used this as a wakeup call – as a nation, they need tourists to thrive and survive with longevity. One would hope that they would now begin to treat foreigners like people, and not as suspected criminals who need to be monitored like an aggressive form of cancer.

Oh dear, are we still peddling that little porky pie ?........  Tourism was on its way down years ago when the likes of "Big Joke"  took over under the blessing of the individuals calling themselves the government.    Thailands tourism problems and hence a lot of the problems within the country stem from " We all know who" and until that lot's gone and borders are opened up to all tourists, not just the Chinese pipe dream currently being touted by the shiny button mob, then Thailand and its people are heading towards a brick wall........  It's all over the internet and Youtube everyday now, and if anyone can't see what's coming then they're bonkers......  Just the truth........

I thought he was due in samui then ? Must be a flying visit , quick drive down one street where all the stooges have been told to turn up and make it look busy and as if nothing is wrong . Then back on the plane and same scenario in Phuket before back to bangkok for dinner ! ????

No!!!! Really??? I am shocked!!!! I thought the 11 international tourists of last week would really pull Thailand as a whole back up to all time highs, perhaps even higher!!! Still don't understand why visa holders here with homes & family aren't allowed back in. Mops59  and Deli's comments have never been answered by govt

If he is taken into Kamala, Patong, Karon and Kata he might see the extent of the problem here.

 

If he goes for a couple of meetings in Phuket Town then he won't.

Until a vacine that really works is found ,tourism to places like Thailand are not on many peoples minds ,when and if the all get their jobs back ,if people holiday it will be far closer to home not to exotic destinations ,

UK embassy has approved the return of  non O retirement visa unexpired. 

With conditions. 

 

I know where you are coming from. 

I have a non immigration O retirement still valid until March 2021.

But cannot use it from Australia. 

I'm now applying for the OA retirement, plus all the costs and quarantine. 

To get back to Thailand.

Well I hope he starts his visit by using the local Tuk,Tuks and finishes off with a nice jet ski ride around patong bay.

I sincerely hope that General Prayut takes a tour of devastated Patong, Kata Karon.   It's in shambles.  And doesn't stay up in a fancy Mai Khao in a 4-5 star hotel the whole time he is in Phuket.  These people need HELP!
