Preventive maintenance and upkeep aren't very common in Thailand. Therefore get in early and sell before the building ages too much

What are the expectations in the price of a condo ?

Are you expected to pay the full asking price or do they usually inflate the price a bit and negotiate with an offer ?

You sound like a good business man lol

I just noticed that some condos are being reduced by 5000 Baht , which suggests the owner will be expecting the full price to be paid

My condo is 1990s and is very well made so seems it depends. Walk around the condo and check everything. My house in Scotland is 150+ years old and solid as a rock

Built around 1870 means the people who built it were born around 1830 or 1840 which means their parents remember the 1790's when Scotland worried about dragons, sea monsters, and the evil kingdoms coming from the land of the sun.  they feared fire, water, and ice..

people here worry about lottery numbers and selling anything and everything with zero warranty.

no same same.  no same same.
