Video: Onliners go ballistic at black smoke polluting pick-ups

 

 

Reaction online was highly critical after a post and  video showed three noisy pick-ups revving, burning rubber and spreading thick black smoke all over other road users. 

 

The post said in rather rude Thai that it "may be your money, your vehicle but we have to f+++ing breathe your smoke".

 

Lopburi police arrested three men in their twenties who were spared three month prison sentences. 

 

The court suspended the sentence. 

 

A fine of 10,000 each could be levied but whether this was done was unclear.

 

The offenders were ordered to make changes to their vehicles.

What about all the belching buses and construction vehicles fouling the air daily in Bkk. Why no fines and order to fix?! Cops eating noodles.

Again... something very easily resolved if the Police were anything other than completely apathetic towards anyone breaking a law !!!!

 

As is the case with so many of Thailands flaws, the Police do nothing to enforce perfectly reasonable existing laws instead choosing the easier ‘periodic’ check point or crack-down.

Last time my exhaust was probed it was a hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and methane combine with hydrogen sulfide and ammonia that got released. 

It’s typical isuzu pickup and drivers ! 90%
