Nope.  Corrupt senior police don't work for lousy paychecks or benefits.  Their source of wealth is that fat income from all the graft coming-in from illegal activities in their territory.  They sit at the top of the food chain and everybody kicks-up to the police.

When transferred to another territory, or into the inactive central office, they lose all of their power and contacts so the flow of money stops.  This allows them to save face but they lose their income streams.

The gambling dens probablly havent helped due to other issues like social distancing and wearing of masks.

And of course the most important bits, ownership and who "attends" that the police are required to "protect".

The police are intimately involved in gambling dens, very often as owners or as usurers lending money at outrageous rates. The nonsense of these transfers has to end....all they will do is open gambling dens in other places. Fire them, and cancel their pensions.

Never ceases to amaze me, it's only when the sh!t hits the fan is anything done with these dodgy coppers

Same with the British Police, Navy and army for helping human traffickers on a daily basis... Time to learn from Australia when it comes to illegal immigration.
