How to survive 9c in Thailand?

Featured Replies

I bought a space heater and an electric blanket the electric blanket broke after three days. I also bought socks which help on the marble floors.

My beautiful young other leaves the bed early to clean the house. I am left cold in my Jessica bedlinen. What so you do?

I could go sleep with the horses like the cat does.

9c isn't even close to freezing, so there sure as heck aren't dying from freezing to death.

48 fahrenheit for the yanks.

Where did you move to Thailand from that you have to ask people how to stay warm, which by the way, is ridiculous.

I find it intriguing that if over here, you put your air con on say 22C, it feels cold, but put your central heating on 22C in UK, and it's too hot.

LOL

Considerably more than a handful :whistling:

In the past, I had limited experience with 38f, that was definitely a handful and a half...we could be a little bit off topic here , must try harder next year....

In previous years we've had locals dying in minimum temperatures of 18C. Invariably older men who've had a skinful and dropped off outside wearing just shorts and flip-flops, then just failing to wake up ????

Hot water bottles on Lazada, cheap cheap. Get your young other to fill them before she leaves the bed, on pain of ATM closure. They won't spoil the flowing lines of the Jessica bedsheets.

Thought of getting up early yourself, lazybones?

 Sounds foul.

My old man used one  of these when it was winter.

Here you go:  https://www.lazada.co.th/products/hot-water-bottle-700-1-i1844896767-s5602162908.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.163.6e71af4c8vIDWD&search=1

Or buy a sweatshirt and sweatpants as they say in  the US.

I will still be walking around in shorts at 9C. Though might wear a warm top.

Woose's, even when I sit in a singlet, flip flops and a G-string on back the front, it's hot, yes even when the temperature drops to 9 degree Celsius, just remember it's
